Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3 is a deep and permanent repair for all types of hair.
Well, it’s about time for Olaplex to come into my hands. I’ve been spinning around this product for so long that I’m already dizzy.😅 And so the day came for me to order my first Olaplex No 3.
And while I waited for the package to arrive, I did a little study on how to use this. Of course, it says on the bottle how to use it, but I always look at other reviews and tips.
So read to the end if you are wondering if Olaplex works or not. I will explain in detail how I used this and whether it helped at all.
My Hair
Just to explain what my hair is like. Well, I ruined my hair a lot in lockdown last year. (A lot of us did that, am I right?). To say exactly what I did, so I switched from redhead to blonde within 2 weeks. Please, if you love your hair don’t do that! It is best to lighten gradually, so you will not damage your hair much.
Yes, I did a great stupid thing. My hair was up to my waist, now a little below my shoulders. I had to shorten it so much.😒😒 The positive thing is that I use a lot of hair oil and hair masks. That saves a lot of the damage I did to myself.

How To Use:
- use 1x per week, for damaged hair 2-3x per week
- apply on damp towel-dried hair
- apply a generous amount from scalp to ends
- leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes, longer if desired
- rinse from hair

Impressions
The bottle is quite small 100ml. The product smells nice but not too intense. The texture is light and easy to apply to hair.
I used Olpalex for a month, twice a week. Instead of ten minutes, I kept it on my hair for about an hour. Although I’ve seen some people say they had better results when they kept this overnight.
But people from Olaplex said they don’t recommend this technique because the product could get in your eye.
I didn’t expect this product to fix my split ends. Because I’ve learned by now that regular haircuts are the best solution for that problem.
However…
What left me speechless? How much did this product reduce the breaking of my hair. And I think that’s why this product is so good. Otherwise, when I combed my hair, so much of my hair would break, I would leave a lot of small pieces of hair behind. That was so frustrating.
But after using Olaplex I see a big difference and it makes me very happy. I will continue to use this at least once a week. It made me so happy that I will probably try other Olaplex products as well.
